Welcome to the Tallahassee Composite Squadron. We are proud to represent the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) in Florida's capital city. This site is for our members as well as visitors who may be interested in an exciting career with the Civil Air Patrol.

Meeting Time: Every Thursday evening from 1900 (7PM) to 2100 (9PM)

Where: Tallahassee Regional Airport (click here for directions to our squadron)
Visitors may call the squadron at 850-580-0010 between 6:30 PM and 9 PM every Thursday night to schedule a visit.

The Civil Air Patrol serves the following three primary functions:

  • Aerospace Education provides CAP members and the educational community information about aviation and space activities. (more info)
  • Cadet Programs inspire the country's youth (ages 12 to 21) to become leaders and good citizens through their interest in aviation and community service. Cadets progress through achievements that include aerospace education, leadership programs, moral leadership, physical fitness and other activities. (more info)
  • Emergency Services include air and ground search and rescue, disaster relief, counter drug, and an increasing role in homeland security. Members fly more than 95 percent of the inland search and rescue missions directed by the Air Force Rescue and Coordination Center. (more info)
